Tokocrypto Completes the USDT Contract Swap on the Optimism Network

Hi Tokonauts,

Tokocrypto has completed the USDT contract swap on the Optimism network. USDT deposits and withdrawals via the Optimism network are now available again and can be used as usual.

As part of this process, USDT on the Optimism network now uses the new contract, while USDT from the previous contract uses the ticker OPUSDTE.

Important Information

  • USDT deposits and withdrawals via the Optimism network are now available.

  • Users can deposit OPUSDTE, which refers to USDT from the previous contract on the Optimism network.

  • OPUSDTE can be converted into the new USDT on the Optimism network at the following ratio:

1 OPUSDTE = 1 USDT

  • The conversion can be completed through the Convert feature available on Tokocrypto.

  • Withdrawals of OPUSDTE are no longer supported after the completion of the contract swap.

  • USDT withdrawals via the Optimism network will use the latest USDT contract.

About the USDT Contract Swap on the Optimism Network

The contract swap was conducted to migrate USDT on the Optimism network from the previous contract to the new contract at a 1:1 ratio.

Users who still hold or deposit USDT from the previous contract can convert their OPUSDTE into the new USDT through the Convert feature.

Tokocrypto has handled all necessary technical requirements throughout the contract swap process.
